Welcome to The Inner Smile. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and the services provided by The Inner Smile, operated by Aparna Aggarwal.

By accessing this website, booking a session, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using this website or our services.

1. About The Inner Smile

The Inner Smile is an online practice dedicated to supporting emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and personal growth through Emotional Wellbeing Coaching, delivered through an integrative approach drawing on psychology-informed counselling skills and psychotherapy-informed techniques and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

Services are provided in accordance with the practitioner’s education, training, certifications, experience, and professional approach, specifically through National Health Care Academy certification course.

2. Eligibility

By booking a session or using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are a woman or girl 18 years of age or older.
  • The information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.

3. Booking Appointments

Appointments may be booked through our website or an authorised booking platform.

A booking is confirmed only after:

  • Your booking process has been completed;
  • Payment has been successfully received through the approved payment gateway; and
  • You receive a booking confirmation.

The Inner Smile reserves the right to decline or reschedule appointments where necessary.

4. Fees & Payments

  • All fees are displayed before booking.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider.
  • The Inner Smile does not store complete payment card or banking details.
  • Prices may be revised from time to time; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the price paid.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund requests are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted that policy.

6. Nature of Services

The Inner Smile offers Emotional Wellbeing Coaching, delivered through an integrative approach drawing on psychology-informed counselling skills and psychotherapy-informed techniques intended to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

These services:

  • Are personalised and collaborative in nature.
  • Do not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
  • Depend upon the client’s active participation and commitment.
  • Are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition.
  • Are not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
  • These services are offered in the capacity of a NHCA certified coaching, counselling-trained, and psychotherapy-informed practitioner, and do not constitute psychiatric treatment, medical advice or treatment, or licensed clinical psychological services (i.e., services requiring statutory registration as a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or other “mental health professional” under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017).
  • The Inner Smile does not provide emergency, crisis intervention, or 24-hour support services.

Progress varies from person to person based on individual circumstances, goals, and engagement in the counselling process. No results are guaranteed.

7. Emergency Situations

The Inner Smile does not provide emergency, crisis intervention, or 24-hour support services.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, a mental health crisis, or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, please immediately contact your local emergency services, the nearest hospital, or an appropriately qualified healthcare provider. In India, you may also contact emergency services at 112, iCall (9152987821), or the Vandrevala Foundation helpline (1860-2662-345, available 24 hours), consistent with the crisis resources listed in the Client Intake Form.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information.
  • Attend sessions punctually.
  • Participate respectfully and in good faith.
  • Inform the practitioner of significant changes that may affect the counselling process.
  • Seek appropriate emergency assistance when urgent medical or mental health support is required.
  • You shall not use our services for any commercial use. Any use of our services other than for personal purposes is prohibited.
  • You shall not use our Services in any way that is unlawful, or harms any other person or entity.
  • You shall not distribute, sell, reproduce, copy, or exploit in any manner whatsoever, any portion of the Service, without our express written permission.
  • You should only use our Services as allowed under these Terms of Use or under applicable laws.
  • By accessing links to other sites provided by us, you acknowledge that The Inner Smile is not responsible for those sites.
  • You agree that you shall pay all applicable fees in full and on time.
  • You acknowledge and agree that you will follow the guidelines provided by us in complete and take care of and complete all the technical and specifications required to be performed by you before using or availing Our Services.

9. Confidentiality

Information shared during counselling sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality.

Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is:

  • Required by applicable law;
  • Necessary to reduce a serious risk of harm to the client or another person; or
  • Required under a lawful order or legal obligation.

10. Technology & Online Services

Online sessions rely on third-party technology platforms. Consistent with the Informed Consent for Emotional Wellbeing Coaching, sessions may not be recorded by either party without prior mutual written agreement.

While reasonable efforts are made to provide reliable online services, The Inner Smile cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet connectivity, platform availability, or freedom from technical interruptions beyond its reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a suitable internet connection and a private environment for online sessions whenever reasonably possible.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website—including text, articles, blog posts, worksheets, downloadable resources, logos, graphics, branding, illustrations, videos, and other materials—is the intellectual property of The Inner Smile.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Any use of Intellectual Property of The Inner Smile will amount to infringement or violation of its rights and is prohibited.

The Services and information provided by us are for informational purposes only. Any third-party content provided by us is the property of their respective owners and The Inner Smile does not assert any rights in relation to the same. The Inner Smile uses the said third-party content subject to the fair use provisions of copyright law. The Inner Smile asserts its copyright ownership on the remaining contents of services or information provided by it.

The Inner Smile respects third-party intellectual property rights and takes every precaution to ensure that no third-party right is being violated. The Inner Smile shall not be held responsible for any delay or inability to provide services arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, internet outages, government actions, power failures, or failures of third-party service providers.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The Inner Smile reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on this website together with the revised Effective Date.

Continued use of the website or services following publication of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India, consistent with the governing law and jurisdiction clause in the Informed Consent for Emotional Wellbeing Coaching.
